Le colibri symbolise l'humanité dans sa fragilité et son besoin d’aller toujours plus vite. À sa droite, l’envoutante danse du poisson Guppy représente la grâce et la beauté de la nature. Les papillons incarnent l'espoir fragile d’un nouveau départ. Quant à la jeune baudroie, elle matérialise ici la pollution et l'avidité. Comme il est étrange de voir ces animaux côte à côte, alors qu'ils vivent dans des régions du monde et des environnements diamétralement opposées. Ils sont pourtant bien là, plus grands que nature, pour montrer la beauté, la richesse et la diversité du monde vivant. Ces animaux se balancent et tournent ensemble dans une valse tourbillonnante de couleurs. Pourtant, dans cet apparent chaos, se trouve un équilibre, une immobilité, un moment capturé dans le temps, juste avant que le chasseur sous-marin ne s’attaque au délicat insecte. Un arrêt sur image pour nous laisser réfléchir à un choix crucial : lequel des deux allons-nous laissé grandir et prendre le dessus, la baudroie ou le papillon ?

Carefree dancing

The hummingbird symbolizes humanity in its fragility and its need to go faster and faster. To its right, the bewitching dance of the Guppy fish represents the grace and beauty of nature. Butterflies embody the fragile hope of a new beginning. As for the young sea-devil, it materializes here pollution and greed. How strange it is to see these animals side by side, when they live in diametrically opposed regions of the world and environments. Yet they are here together, larger than life, to show the beauty, richness and diversity of the living world. These animals swing and turn together in a swirling waltz of color. Yet, in this apparent chaos, there is a balance, an immobility, a moment captured in time, just before the underwater hunter attacks the delicate insect. A freeze frame to let us think about a crucial choice: which of the two will we let grow and take over, the monkfish or the butterfly?
