Here is a painting I did this time last year. It was a surprise gift for our neighbor who breeds endangered birds. I started the creation with photos and cut the images together on the computer using PowerPoint. Then I printed the image and drew a grid. For the next step, I drew another bigger grid over the canvas with a HB pencil and matched the drawing up with the image, but scaled up. Then I painted the tropical forest. After that, one by one the birds and then Pierre himself. It was a pleasure to do this painting. It kept me busy during the lockdown and gifting it was a really happy memory. Have a great day.

Voici une peinture que j'ai réalisée à la même époque l'année dernière pour offrir un cadeau surprise à notre voisin qui élève des oiseaux en voie de disparition. J'ai commencé la création avec des photos et j'ai découpé les images ensemble sur l'ordinateur en utilisant PowerPoint. J'ai ensuite imprimé l'image et dessiné une grille. Pour l'étape suivante, j'ai dessiné une grille sur la toile à l'aide d'un crayon HB et j'ai fait correspondre le dessin à l'image mais en l'agrandissant sur la toile. J'ai ensuite peint la forêt tropicale. Puis un par un les oiseaux et enfin Pierre lui-même. C'était un plaisir de faire cette peinture. Elle m'a occupé pendant l'enfermement et l'offrir a été un très bon souvenir. Bonne journée à tous
